Rock(steady studio) Teasers

So out of the fact that nothing was on, I decided to get myself involved with Spike’s Video Game Awards. The writing was awful, the cameos were forced, and the audience feigned excitement at everything. So, it was an award show.
So they kicked it off with a word from the Joker since Arkham Asylum was a big one this year.*
And that’s when they dropped the world premiere of Arkham Asylum II.

Looks like the nuts have left the asylum behind* and taken it to the streets. The teaser has little to show, and if you visited the link above you’ll note there’s just as much info there, but if they’ve left behind Arkham and moved out into Gotham, we could be in for a real treat. Doubtful it’ll be a full GTA/Prototype style mock up of Gotham but if such is the case, AWESOME.*

(Here is the teaser trailer I found on youtube. Chances are by the time you read this it will say removed due to copyright violation. All the same, you might be able to find it at the above link by then.)

The first Arkham Asylum, while a little slim on gameplay content and which game isn’t anymore, was critically acclaimed as one of the top games in 2009. The one button fighting controls – thanks FreeFlow Combat System!– made gaming a lot more entertaining for the button masher crowd. And regardless what you thought about the lack of content, the QUALITY of content made up for it.  The Scarecrow segments –and the subsequent trip through Bruce’s psyche– alone are worth it.

Here’s the second fear toxin induced nightmare as a taste…

If they even hit this level of mind**** again, I’ll be perfectly happy.

I’ll post more when they do.
